It's February, and it's the birthday month of our beloved Superstar Shahid Kapoor. Like every year, our team is busy packing a special, secret gift box for Sasha. This will include a Birthday video (among other things), which will also be uploaded on our admin's YouTube channel. 

For many years, we have only selected a few birthday messages, but this year, our team has decided to give YOU a chance to become a part of this video. We are giving three Shanatics a chance to become a part of this 'Special Birthday Video'. Wanna know how? Read the post and find out.

Shanatic of the Month (April) - Kannupriya & Ishita

We are back with the Interview of our 'Shanatic of the Month' (April) contest winners. We decided not to have the SOTM in May as we had selected two winners in April and that was a fair decision.

Our SOTM winners (April) had to wait longer than the others to see their Interview on the blog, as our team was extremely busy with other commitments. But now, the wait is over! Here's presenting our two winners, Kannupriya Gumber and Ishita Agarwal, who spoke to our Team Shahid's World representative, about Shahid Kapoor, the man we all love.

SW: Hello girls! Congratulations on winning the SOTM contest in April! I know you both are truly happy about winning this title. So tell us, Which movie did you officially realise that you like Shahid?

Kannupriya: Jab we met. It's the first movie of Shahid Kapoor which I liked. I seen this film so many times. That's when I realised that I am in love with this man. That's when my Shanatic blood cells generated!

Ishita: I started liking Shahid after his first release Ishq Vishk. But, I wasn't crazy about him that time. It was only later that I realised, slowly and gradually, that I have started to like him and now, I've turned a Shanatic!

SW: Impressive! We all love swaying on SK songs. Plus, it's a treat watching him dance. So, which song of Shahid Kapoor is your ultimate favorite Dance number?

Kannupriya: I love all all the songs of his movies. But my favorite dance number is Sajh Dajh ke, Mukhtasar, Humse pyaar karle tu, Mauja Hi Mauja etc Sorry for ending up naming so many songs, but it's difficult to select one!

Ishita: I think all dancing numbers from his films are awesome, but I love Mauja hi Mauja and Aai Pappi. I just cannot stop grooving on these numbers. Also, they are lucky for me as I won 3 dance competitions where I had performed on these tracks.

SW: Well, we go through the same dilemma! So tell us about your all time favorite Shahid film and the reason you like that film?

Kannupriya: Wow! Such difficult questions. Well, as I am a Shanatic, I love all his films. But, Jab we met, Mausam, Vivaah etc are some films that are close to my heart.

Ishita: Undoubtedly Jab we met! I loved Aditya Kashyap in that movie. It's one of the most romantic films ever made.

SW: Wow, these questions are the easiest you will find girls! So, if you ever got a chance to meet Shahid, what would you gift him?

Kannupriya: Uffff!! I am eagerly waiting for that golden moment in my life, when I can meet him.

I would love to gift him a set of all time favourite music cd's, old and new. Also, a new Blackberry, just so that we can exchange our BB pins *just kidding*  Also, some fresh Brazilian coffee beans!

Ishita: I would give him his portrait, sketched by me!

SW: Finally, any message for Shahid?

Kannupriya: Dear Shahid, You are my inspiration because you have inspired me a lot. You made me believe that impossible is nothing! You are not just a star, but a SUPERSTAR. A real human being, born with a golden heart. Thank you so much for everything Shahid!

Ishita: Shahid, You are my Idol & Inspiration. Be the wonderful person that you are. Wishing you the most happy, healthy and successful life. I will be your Shanatic forever.

Shanatic of the Month - Keshie

Once again, its that time of the month when we meet a Shanatic and ask him/her about their experiences of being a Shahid Kapoor fan and why they love him so much. But first, let me THANK all of you for the amazing response we keep getting every month for this contest. We enjoy reading your tweets and love interacting with you. We would also like to apologise for not being consistent with our blog posts of late, but with exams and other priorities, it does become slightly difficult for our team members to take time out and post an interview. But we are back with the interview of our 'Shanatic of Month' winner for March, Keshie Patel from Australia.

SW team: Hello Keshie! Its always a delight reading your tweets to us on Twitter. You also finished as the runner up in our other contest. Well, lets get back to knowing the 'Shanatic' side of you. How long have you been a fan of Shahid Kapoor?

Keshie: I've been a fan of Shahid since his Ishq Vishk days. So you can say, I've been a 'Shanatic' since his first film.

SW team: Wow! That's amazing. Sounds great. So if you are given a choice to watch any ONE Shahid Kapoor film non-stop 100 times, which movie would it be and why?

Keshie: I would pick Kaminey! Its a classic, hands down. I'm a HUGE fan of Charlie (I guess everyone knows that). Its one of Shahid's finest films till date and I cannot stop loving Charlie. What a superb character.

SW team: Fuperb! Fhahid played charlie really well and no wonder, he walked away with all the awards that year.  Lets move on to a different genre, romance. Which is your favourite romantic song filmed on Shahid Kapoor, from his film?

Keshie: Tum se hi from Jab we met. Its such a wonderful song. It tops my iTunes play list.

SW team: True! Its one of the most brilliantly composed romantic number. Moving on, I think every Shanatic's dream is to meet Shahid and click a picture or probably take his autograph as a memory. So if you ever get a chance to meet Shahid and take his autograph, on what would you take it?

Keshie: An autograph book, nothing fancy. Plus, I have one at home already! Waiting to get his signature on it.

SW team: How sweet! :) Lastly, any message for Shahid Kapoor?

Keshie: Shahid your my hero and inspiration always keep smiling. Remain as beautiful as you are much love to you always :)

So once again, we bring to you our 'Shanatic of the Month'. For many Shanatics, The month of February is truly special. It’s Shahid's birthday month. We got an amazing response for our contest and in the end; Farina Amjad (@farinaamjad) won hands down. Our team representative caught up with her and asked her a few questions.

SW team: Hi Farina! Congratulations. How does it feel to become the 'Shanatic of the Month' in February?

Farina: It feels so good! I'm happy that I got selected as the #SOTM in February. It’s a special month for all the Shanatics.

SW team: So tell us, when was the first time you realized that you like Shahid Kapoor?

Farina: Honestly, I liked him in jab we met when I saw the film, but when it was only when I saw kismat konnection i realized that I like him a lot.

SW team: Well, I dont blame you. Raj Malhotra in Kismat Konnection sure was a sweet guy.  So which is your all time favourite Shahid Kapoor film?

Farina: Undoubtedly, Jab we met! It’s the best romantic film I've seen till date.

SW team: We totally agree! Amen to that :) Shanatics love having shahid kapoor songs on their iPod (We all do). Which one is your all time favourite Shahid Kapoor song?

Farina: I love Mauja hi Mauja from Jab we met and Dhan te Nan from Kaminey. I simply cannot stop grooving to these songs whenever it’s played.

SW team: True that! Both the songs are full on dance numbers. Well, let’s say you get a chance to gift Shahid something, what would it be?

Farina: A beautiful wrist watch! :)

SW team: Ngaaw! Then he will remember you whenever he checks the time. Nice! So, you got any message for Shahid?

Farina: SHAHID,may you always be happy wherever you are because you happiness matters the most to us. Take care of yourself :)

And I love all the Shahid FC's. I love Shahid's world. I mean come on, how can I not love his world? ;)

Shanatic of the Month (January 2012) - Nish Bhatt

As a fresh new start to the year 2012, we decided to start a monthly feature which would give #Shahidholics a chance to show their love to the man they love, Shahid Kapoor. This monthly feature is aptly termed as the ‘Shanatic of the Month’ where every month one Shahidholic gets lucky and his/her interview is posted on our blog for the world to see.

Team SW – Hi Nish! Let’s get started with basics first. When was the the first time you got to know that you really like Shahid?

Nish-  Hey Guys! I started liking Shahid since his first movie Ishq-Vishq, but wasn't all that crazy. Slowly I realized that my obsession for Shahid had increased & I turned a full on Shanatic!

Team SW: That’s awesome! So how about you tell us which is your favourite character played by Shahid?

Nish: Favourite Shahid character has to be Harry & Charlie. Harry in Mausam because Shahid had given 2years for this film & was also seen flying the F-16. I also liked Charlie in Kaminey because he had become a Bad-Boy, which was different for him that time.

Team SW: Awesome! Now tell us about your Favourite Shahid Kapoor song!

Nish: My favorite Shahid song is Rabba from MAUSAM. It’s a beautiful, soulful song! Shahid looks really very cute in Rabba. His innocence & love for Aayat was shown best in this song.

Team SW: True that! We absolutely adore that song. So know that we know your favourites, tell us about that one most attractive thing about Shahid that you love the most.

Nish: That’s tough, Haha! His dance is one such thing that turns me on when I am feeling low! OMG, The way he dances! No one can move the way he does! He's the BEST-EST after MJ!! 

Team SW: We totally agree! So as we come to the end of this interview, we would like to know if you have any message for Shahid?

Nish: My message for Shahid is: I will always be his #Shanatic & my love for him will grow every moment. I would thank him for helping me discover the new ME & for inspiring all the #Shanatics and also would thank him for making my B'day special with his RT on twitter. He will always remain my SexyBoy™

Our team member caught up with the 3rd place and 5th place winner, Keshie Patel & Kannupriya Gumber, to ask them something about their experience of being a Shahid Kapoor fan, their likes,dislikes & much more!

1. When was the first time you realized that you like Shahid Kapoor?

Keshie: It was after Ishq vishk. Shahid acted so well that I ended up liking him. He was brilliant.

Kannupriya : When I watched his very first movie Ishq Vishk, I fell in love with him.He acted very well. Very Decent & charming.
His looks stole my Heart & Made me his Shahidholic forever!

2. Which is your favourite Shahid Kapoor film and why?

Keshie: Kaminey! Shahid as Charlie was Oh so Sexy! He showed the world that he can play the mean guy so well. Also, He played both the roles of Charlie & Guddu so well. He broke the chocolate boy image with this one. 

Kannupriya: Ahhh.... all of them ;) Its so difficult to choose.
But if I have to choose, then Jab We Met. & Mausam  top my list. In Jab We Met, he played the role of “Aditya Kashyap” very well.The album is so good & all the songs are so touching. I love all the Dialogues of Aditya.

Some are : "tum apne kaam se kaam nai rakh sakti?"

 "Tu original piece hai, malum h na tujhe?,Aisa dusra nai hai" and many more.
On the other hand, Mausam was a beautiful movie Shahid Kapoor As Harry was so adorable. I loved the Story of the Film. Mausam is very close to Shahid's Heart as well. I fell in love with this Movie <3 The songs are mindblowing.

3. Which is that one SK song that you can keep humming all day without getting bored? 

Keshie: Bakhuda Tumhi Ho from the movie Kismat Konnection. Its really well sung! 

Kannupriya: Rabba from the movie Mausam. I love that song <3

4. If you get a chance to meet Shahid and gift him something, What will you buy?

Keshie: That would be the biggest day of my life. I would gift him something unique. A Guitar key ring (to hang his keys on) along with some Bead jewellery. I will also buy the Famous Australian choco biscuits, Tim Tams.  

Kannupriya: OMG I’m still waiting for that day.If i get a Chance to meet him i would like to gift him some safety items like helmet n all that stuff so that he can ride his Fat Boy (Harley Davidson) with ease. I know His Fat Boy is his Jann & I want him to be safe.

5. Your favourite SK movie song?

Keshie: It’s the season of love with Mausam being Shahid’s latest release. So its Rabba mein toh marr gaya oye. 

Kannupriya: Is this love from the movie Kismat Konnection.

6. Do you like Shahid's World and the Team?

Keshie: I love Shahid’s World! You guys are Amazing, Very loyal & hardworking. Your work shows that you idolize Shahid from the bottom of your hearts (: 

Kannupriya: OH YES! I Love Shahid's World to the Fullest...You guys are rocking. Full of shaksentertainment. I can give you guys a title "Welcome To Shasha Land " ;)

7. Any message for Shahid Kapoor? 

Keshie: Shahid you are my Hero and Inspiration, you taught me how to believe in my self for that I truly respect you.. I wish you all the very best for your future.. Always remain happy and shine and rock like you always do.

Star,my inspiration,my world,my smile,my life. You taught me

Interview - Team SW chats with the Winner of the WeLuvSKContest Modita Behl

So last month, Our team decided to have a contest. A Shahid Kapoor movie DVD was up for grabs and the contest was named as #WeLuvSKContest. The contest got an amazing response with over 100 participants and some amazing answers. In the end, We decided to have 5 winners, One who would walk away with a DVD and the rest as runners up.

Last week, we caught up with the winner of the contest, Modita Behl from Himachal Pradesh (India), whose answer helped her win the DVD. We asked her some questions regarding the man we all love (and the reason our team exists) – Shahid Kapoor!

Team SW: Congratulations Modita, How does it feel to emerge as the winner from over 100 participants?

Modita: It feels great! Thank you for giving me the opportunity.

Team SW: So tell us, When was the first time you realized that you like Shahid Kapoor as an actor?

Modita: I remember watching the Clinic Plus ad right after the release of his first film ‘Ishq Vishk’. That’s when I realized I’ve fallen for him already.

Team SW: Haha, Well that was the case for most of us! Moving on, Which is your favourite Shahid Kapoor film and why?

Modita : That’s difficult! I have watched all his movies and love all of them. But some of them are close to my heart for different reasons. Jab we met, Vivah & Ishq Vishk are my all time favs, I can watch them on repeat. But 2011 is the season of love – Mausam.

Team SW: When we talk about Shahid Kapoor, The first thing that comes to our mind apart from Dance, Good looks etc is “Super Hit songs”. Tell us, which is that one Shahid song that you can keep humming all day without getting bored?

Modita: Has to be “Tum se hi” from Jab we met. Can never bored humming that track, Its addictive.

Team SW: True that! JWM songs were truly epic. So is Tum se hi also your favourite Shahid movie song?

Modita: Well, A favourite song is very difficult to choose. I would say, I like all Shahid Kapoor songs.

Team SW: That’s a smart answer! Every #Shahidholic dreams of meeting Shahid Kapoor. If you get a chance to meet Shahid and gift him something, what will you buy?

Modita: OMG!!! That would be the best day of my life. If I meet Sasha, I’ll gift him a coffee mug. We all know that he is a BIG coffee addict. Every time he will sip the coffee, He might just think about me. And yes, A big Scarlett Johansson poster too!

Team SW: I’m sure Shahid would love that. We know you’ve been a part of the #Shahidholic family for a long time. So we would like to know, do you like Shahid’s World?

Modita: Yes ofcourse! I simply love Shahid's world. Its one of my favourite fan club’s since you all are Shahidholics- Dil Se. I can proudly say, Its the Fountain of Shahid Kapoor knowledge :))

Team SW: That’s really sweet of you Modita! So finally, You got any message for Shahid Kapoor?
